Using the Fibonacci sequence (0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13...) the golden rectangle can be created. The golden rectangle appears in nature as the spiraling of leaves on plants or the shells of animals. It is said that the golden rectangle is the most optically pleasing of all rectangles and is therefore used in architecture and art. This rendition includes the interlocking basswood frame that has the internal measurements of the Fibonacci sequence. The spiral can be carved or inlaid depending on your preference. All pieces are hung by two metal reinforced keyhole hangers so it hugs the wall (2 keyhole screws included).
